I'm writing this journal a bit later than I was supposed to, but still. Even though our last month's collaborative features didn't get as much attention and participants as I had hoped, it was awesome and a lot of fun. So I'd like to thank *Debbysh, *tatsuyabocchan and ~NotenSMSK for all their wonderful suggestions and for showing us those beautiful artworks!

But August is long over and it's about time to start the new journal. And to (hopefully) make things interesting for even more of you, I've chosen this month's theme to be... *drumroll*

Thank you so much for making my time on dA yesterday during the few hours I had to partake of the festivities amazing!

It reminds me why I love this community so much.
I handed out a total of 12 subs. They will show up after a bit, once things fully wrap up and things are sorted through, but they are coming!
Not everything on my list was completed, but I did get some good art to share, so as promised I will feature that art!

I had the great fortune to interact with a deviant I previously had not. His gallery is wonderful (imo)

On a personal note. Things are going OK. there has been quite a bit of stress, but I've sorted through most of it.
Right now I'm quite literally crying, but it's ok, it's a happy sad cry.

Collaborative Features - MFFS MonthHello deviants!

It's 1. August 2012 already and the voting period of the Mythological Creatures Design Challenge may have ended, but seeing so many awesome designs helped me choose the folder for our first ever Collaborative Feature!
And this month's theme, as you've probably guessed by now, is...
Mythology, Folklore, Fantasy, Sci-fi
As I promised a while ago, here you have the journal, where you can comment the whole month with the thumbs / links to up to 5 deviations, connected to the theme of the folder. It can be literature, pictures, cosplay, flash animation or any other kind of art you choose. (Note: Even if your art is connected to the theme in some way too, please don't send links to more than 1 of your own deviations.) I’ll pile them up and at the end of the month we’ll have a feature

Favourites Feature - InspirationSo we all do it, hit the Fave button and add work we like to our Favourites folders; but how often do you go back and look through what you've faved? Sit back and appreciate the art/writing?
Sometimes, I have to shamefully admit, that a work catches my eye, I hit Fave and quickly move on without leaving a comment.
There's a new group :iconFeatureChallenge: whose members create and post Journal Features thereby hopefully spreading the word/art of their fellow deviants to a wider audience.
So I'm starting out by featuring my faves. I'm going to take the time to go through each of the folders in turn and pick my favourite favourites from each.
So first up is my Inspiration folder. In the little blurb for this folder I state that 'Here I place conceptual or unusual works that speak to my soul.'

July is almost over and it has been one busy month for me. I had uploaded many deviations + made many journal skins + Searched for jobs and gave interviews + posting some important journals.

I've finally accepted an offer from an online gaming platform providing company for the role of "Online Mktg Professional management Trainee + Team leader". Its a pretty decent job with lot of challenges. But hey! Life is always full of challenges right?
