OK, before you read this journal. Just visit my profile CypherVisor and have a look at the deviant-ID widget in my page and come back to read this journal again.

I assume that now you've gone through the  deviant-ID  widget in my page. So, how's it? Custom background is working with the new deviant-ID box of DA huh? :D You probably had used this tutorial (below) of mine earlier for the old deviant-ID box. But unfortunately the code for that is not working with the new one anymore.
deviantID-box bckgrnd tutorial (OUTDATED) by CypherVisor

You might be excited to have this new tutorial for the deviant-ID box but there are some big problems associated with this.

1) You can't change the font colors (as for any custom box widget). May people asks me this ques that, "How can we change the font color after using the custom backgrounds?". The answer is pretty straight, you simply can't! because DA has disabled the font color attribute!

2) The tutorial shall involve precise background size to be used. If you use a background which is too long or too short then the background shall cross-over the "interest" dropdown or  won't be long enough to cross the text "which you write in your bio"

3) You need to make lot of replacements of many text and URLs in the code to get it work properly. I am afraid that I may go nuts :nuu: with people's doubts if I upload this tutorial. Most of the time people just comment on my tutorials saying, "It doesn't work for me". Well, it works for me and everyone else so why won't it work for you?

You might think I've written the 3rd point angrily but it not that fact! :) I am a very cool-minded guy and I always like to help other and I always do.
All I want to say is that please try to follow any of my tutorials head-to-toe and step-by-step and you will get the results! Please don't give up at the first try and leave a comment saying "its not working". Also, always read the comments posted by others. There is always a high chance that the same doubt has been asked by another deviant earlier.

Anyways, I am always there to help you. Don't be shy or afraid to ask me the most stupid ques that you might have. After all, you learn by making mistakes and asking others! Right?

Cheers,
Sid

I did your other fine and it looked good so well done! Just one question though, I get a random core symbol in the middle of my page :(
